   Jacomyntje (Jemima) Blanshan was born to Jacob and Jacomyntje Smedes
Blanshan and baptized on July 14, 1771. She married Wilhelm (William) F. Freer,
son of Jan Freer and Lydia (also seen as “Alida”) A. Van Vliet, who was baptized on
October 30, 1770. Jacomyntje died on November 1, 1838. The children of
Jacomyntje and William were:

Jan John) W. Freer – baptized in Kingston on August 19, 1792 under the
sponsorship of his grandparents Jan Freer and Lydia Van Vliet.  On September 20,
1754 he married Anna Van Aken, born in 1797. Jan died November 1, 1839 and
Anna died November 15, 1850. They are buried in St. Remy Cemetery in Ulster
County, New York.

Jacob Freer – baptized April 16, 1797 under the sponsorship of Peter Blanshan and
“Wentje” Smedes.

Petrus Smedes Freer – born September 31, 1798 and baptized in Bloomington on
November 2, 1798.

Lydia Freer – born December 9, 1800, baptized December 28, 1800. On January 2,
1823 she married Edward Pine in Kingston.

Garret Freer – born November 9, 1802, baptized December 28, 1802.

William Matthew Freer – born February 15, 1805 and baptized in Bloomington on
March 24, 1805. He married Anna Acker, born September 2, 1805. Anna died
February 20, 1860 and William died April 14, 1870. Both are buried in St. Remy
Cemetery in Ulster County.

Hiram Freer – baptized December 15, 1806. He married a woman named Margaret.
George Washington Freer – born May 16, 1809, baptized in Kingston on June 18,
1809. He married Sally (Sarah) Smith, born in 1810. George died May 22, 1874 and
Sally died July or August 21, 1888. Both are buried in the St. Remy Cemetery.

Gitty Ann Freer – born November 7 or 8, 1812 and baptized on December 6, 1812.
She married Nicholas Van Aken who predeceased her. Gitty died December 4,
1886.
